The Gone Movie Poster project is a collaboration with high school filmmaker Kyle Ward from San Antonio, Texas. His directional debut short film "GONE" has been accepted into notable festivals around the country, including SXSW 2022. I was the creative director in charge of create an eye-catching poster, helping to increase the engagement and recognition for his film.
Inspired by urban cities, I purposefully hand-drew a variety of organic looking buildings. By doing this, the crowded and messy urban scenery begins to choke the negative space of the cow representing the farmlands. This ultimately reflects the message of the short film. How long until farmers lose land for housing and commercial purposes?
The film won 11 awards across the Nation.
