Downtown San Antonio is filled with very old and historical places. While many businesses hold onto that value of being an historic building, the San Antonio Chamber decided that they needed to stand out from the monochromatic colored buildings spread throughout downtown and bring attention to itself through design.

Given this privilege, I decided to take advantage of the six arches on the building’s facade to put a connecting sentence running across the front. Another reason for doing a connecting sentence, was that the street was a one-way making it the perfect set up for people to read it in the correct order. After doing research of the business, I used six chairmen that played a significant role in the history of the chamber to be the faces on their own designated banner.

The result made the building highly attractive and stand out from the rest of the buildings surrounding it. While still portraying the history of the building, the chamber did it in a way that was both visual and consistent with their branding.
